Just a stone's throw from the Swiss border, Livigno is famous for its snow parks, slopes and downhill runs. With its 100 square kilometres of skiable area, 115 km of slopes (12 black, 37 red and 29 blue), 6 cable cars, 11 ski lifts and 14 chair lifts, Livigno is the cradle of Italian skiing. Downhill skiers and snowboarders come here, those who prefer freeriding or downhill skiing. While, for cross-country skiing, there are 30 kilometres of trails winding through the valley.
